We have no negative comments. Our stay was lovely and we couldn't fault the room, which I understand is one of the best in the hotel. Having a separate living room was a real added bonus.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Penrith. Very clean, comfortable and well maintained rooms. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff friendly and helpful.

Finding the carpark on a busy saturdayday afternoon, took a few circuits of the town to locate.

An excellent overnight stop while travelling from Scotland. The George is an excellent hotel. Friendly staff. Well maintained and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed a great breakfast. The parking could be a problem if arriving late. Had to drive around a bit to find the rear entrance to the car park for which there is an extra charge (£6.50). The hotel is dog friendly so you can travel with your pet ( £20 charge).
