Location was convenient

Okay and Okay

Did not like paying over $400.00 for the room.

We stayed last night at the Hampton Inn in Fremont, Ohio. The room was ok and somewhat clean. The bed did not have a full mattress cover, just a sheet over the mattress and the bath was disgusting. Mold at the bottom of the shower and peeling paint on the ceiling. A shelf by the sink was about ready to fall off the wall. Too bad I can't add pictures to this review. Not worth the $245 we had to pay.

Location. Friendly and accommodating personnel, especially with my room change request. Very grateful. 12 pm check out a bonus. Clean and tidy building. Convenient exit doors near elevator on first floor.

Room 220 above noisy mechanical room, but my room change request because of the loud humming below was granted. Footsteps above from third floor very loud in new room (236) though. No office chair with rocking option. Lights from next door sheetz gas station very bright. Diesel smell from sheetz outside prominent. Only 1 elevator.

We always stay at Hampton when we travel. However, recently, I have begun to notice an unpleasant trend. Has there recently been a company memo sent out to your locations that require the front desk staff NOT to smile and NOT to in anyway indicate that they are happy the customer is checking in?? Good Lord, is their job so miserable that they act like they have been on duty for 36 straight hours? I am a business owner and I realize how hard it is to get decent employees. But geez, can’t they smile for at least the first 3 seconds after contact? Sorry, but thought you would want to know!

When someone finally showed up after waiting several minutes & calling “hello” she seemed unconcerned when I told her toilet in hall needed major attention-unflushed & then almost overflowed she didn’t seem too concerned. “I’m the only one here & I’ll get to it”. Second time staying here & it was great before. Great cookies!!
