"I will definitely be back! It was lovely!"

The location and building are beautiful. The history and the 20’s decor was amazing. It was so quiet but close to various activities. The speakeasy with the game room was my favorite!

"Beautiful and definitely worth another visit soon."

10.0

Everything was perfect. Before arriving, the Assistant Innkeeper, Savannah contacted us to give us some information before arriving and asked us for an approximate time of our arrival so they could be prepared to greet us. The Inn is beautiful and has a great history. Each of the rooms has their own character. We spoke with most of the staff while there, and had several conversations with Brenda, the owner and learned a little more about the Inn and grounds. The included breakfasts were amazing. Chef Kader created a different delicious breakfast choice every morning we were there. Ben, the lead steward, who served our breakfast one of the mornings was a great conversationalist, and also gave us more information about the Inn and area. We had dinner in the Inns restaurant two different nights, and Chef Gunther does a wonderful job with the meals and the presentation. They were delicious and perfectly proportioned. We left each satisfied but not stuffed.

The only thing we didn't like had nothing to do with the Inn, but the weather. We had one day where a snow storm had made driving a little dicey while we were out, but that just gave us a reason to go back and enjoy some warm drinks by the fireplace in the parlor.

"it was ok"

7.0

breakfast was great, dinner not so much. The meal at dinner seemed stuck in decades past. My wife had overcooked lobster. They didn't crack the shell in the kitchen and did not provide shell-crackers, so she had a difficult time getting the lobster out of the shell

Dinner, not so much. The meal seemed stuck in decades past. My wife had overcooked lobster. They didn't crack the shell in the kitchen or provide shell crackers, so she had difficulty getting the lobster out of the shell. The alcohol policy is strange. They said they couldn't serve drinks unless the kitchen was open, so on New Year's Eve, they stopped serving drinks at 9:30 p.m. I was told this is a state law; bars keep their kitchens open until they close, or they get a special exemption. I would think that an inn would be able to serve since most who are there drinking are most likely staying there

"Excellent grounds and beautiful home"

10.0

Great place to stay. The house has been taken care of wonderfully and it is beautifully decorated. I especially enjoyed hearing about the history of the house and the area in the 1920s. Breakfast was very good as well. Really enjoyed our stay and personalized service.

Nothing it was great!
