Inn at Otter Crest

We had a great one night stay at the Inn at Otter Crest. We used our VI points and these rooms are recently remodeled and very nice! Our two bedroom condo had a large private loft area with two queen beds and it's own bathroom. The master bedroom was very large and private. The balcony was huge and had a great view of the grounds, pool and ocean. The pool here is heated and large. We liked the stairs to the beach to explore the tide pools. There are lots of trails to walk through at the resort surrounded by forest and plants. It's a short 10-15 minute walk to the Devil's Punchbowl. Go there and have lunch at Mo's or get chocolate or ice cream at the cute little shops there. There's a good playground for kids, an activity room with ping pong and video games, and a tennis court and basketball court. Plenty to do for the whole family!

Beautiful location. Grounds of the hotel were well kept. Had a nice pool and hot tub. The hotel is located in a hilly location so when walking around you will be going up and down hills and steps. Saw many whales right from our ocean view balcony.

The views!!! We watched whales from our balcony and it was a short stroll to the beach. Devil's Punchbowl is basically on the property! Rooms were clean and appropriately stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Shower handle was broken in 156 & 1/3 of the lights were out in the bathroom, requested repairs and was ignored. Best part was Juan, he was nice and attentive

Gorgeous property! Very friendly staff. Our ocean view was nice. Staying next to kids was a little loud, but my wife and I would stay again for sure.

Gorgeous ground, also well kept

This was a cute property as in the grounds were beautiful. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and there’s also a restaurant. I could see how this was a place to go when it was first built but you can tell they’ve aged now. There was mold around the tub in the bathroom and cracked/peeling paint on ceiling. Also paper thin walls. You could legit hear full conversations and if someone coughed in the other room. I would come back if these ever got remodeled. For now not coming back.

We stayed 2 nights. After reading reviews I knew what to expect when it came to walking/getting a ride from staff to the room. There’s a parking lot up top. Walking to your room is a trek (we did it the first night with all our luggage) had I realized it was all uphill I would have opted for a ride in the golf cart. The next two days we did and the staff was super quick to give us a ride. Walking down wasn’t bad at all. We had king size ocean view and the very first night we immediately saw whales. The whole time we seen about 7+ whales right from our hotel room. My only two complaint was that the pillows were really flat. My husband had to go to the local Walmart (which is close btw ) and buy a new pillow. The other was that there is no AC and no fan. For someone who sleeps warm and likes noise at night having no fan was not ideal. I almost bought one from the Walmart. I highly recommend this hotel. We were able to walk to the beach (the stairs are a trek back up) but worth it! Local attractions like the devils punch bowl, lighthouse, pier and rogue brewing to name a few. I would encourage anyone to read reviews before coming so you know what to expect before being surprised. I will also mention that nearby for breakfast is the Nye Beach Cafe and they were absolutely phenomenal!

Gorgeous setting, friendly staff, a lovely on site restaurant, outdoor pool, stairway access to the beach, comfortable and clean rooms with a beautiful view of the beach! A definite destination spot on the Oregon coast!

The views! Front desk hung up on me after I requested pool towels for the 2nd time. We had asked for them 2 hours earlier ( they were supposed to be in room) went to dinner came back & still no towels. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool or hot tub as there were only 3 small towels in room so it was choice to shower or hot tub, very disappointed ☹️ the restaurant on site not affiliated supposedly but avoid that place!
