Das Haus und der Speisesaal, sowie die Bar sind sehr schön.

Es wird sehr auf nobel gemacht, aber schon beim Checkin wird man nicht einmal gefragt, ob man einen Willkommens Drink oder eine Erfrischung möchte, obwohl beides um die Dame herumsteht. Es wird auch nicht gefragt, ob man Hilfe braucht beim Gepäck, obwohl das Gebäude extrem verschachtelt ist. Das ist für den Anspruch sehr schwach. Ebenso ist es bezüglich der Parkmöglichkeiten eher suboptimal. Das Frühstück ist auch auf absolut durchschnittlichen Niveau und sicherlich nicht der Preisklasse entsprechend.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön renoviert und in einem tollen Zustand. Für ein Stadthotel sind die Zimmer, vor allem das Bad, sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Vom ersten Kontakt an haben wir uns sehr wohl und gut betreut gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist besonderer Qualität.

Zu unserer Jahreszeit waren die Preise doch eher hoch.

Beautiful place. Very old building that has been modernized, almost like staying in a castle! Walkable location to the Royal mile and lots of places to eat. Staff were great, super helpful and polite. Thanks to Tulga the barman, great talking with you.
