The Scott

Un des plus bel hôtel que nous ayons fait, l'atmosphère est incroyable! Literie exceptionnelle, petit déjeuner extra, et surtout l'emplacement, à deux pas du départ vers Arthur`s Peak,au milieu de l'université, et l'arrêt de bus de la piscine à 1mn à pied permet de rejoindre n'importe quel quartier de la ville hyper rapidement.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very peaceful.The staff was wonderful, especially Fabi, who was incredibly helpful in sorting out an issue with our Highlands tour—she was so sweet!

A bit far from the city center, requiring Uber, but excellent in terms of comfort, staff, and cleanliness.

Ottima struttura con sale magnifiche in una residenza settecentesca. Attento e premuroso lo staff Eccellente colazione, servita in tutta tranquillità al tavolo. Ottime le Eggs Benedict

Qualche maggiore attenzione nell'allestimento della camera, piccoli particolari. Ad esempio non siamo riusciti a fare funzione le macchina del caffè espresso...

Really lovely little hotel, has been decorated to a very high standard. The bedroom was beautiful and had everything you might need, coffee machine and kettle, plenty of coffee and tea options (although I couldn’t get the coffee machine to work…), hairdryer, iron and ironing board etc. The bathroom was massive and lovely, separate shower and bath, slippers and bath robe. I didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that and will say that I did struggle somewhat to find parking. A note for those with mobility issues, as mentioned previously there is no lift and the walk to my room was through a number of corridors up and down steps (I didn’t mind!) if you are disabled or have mobility issues flag it to the hotel in advance there are plenty of more accessible rooms. I loved this hotel, it was a welcome reprieve on a busy work trip. I would be more than happy to stay again and would welcome the chance to do so. And while I know no one chooses hotels based on how they smell this place smelt divine too!

Parking was tricky.

We stayed one night at the Scott Hotel, Edinburgh basically because it had Parking. The Hotel is a beautiful building and decorated well keeping a lot of the character. Our room was two floors up but be aware there’s no lift, so if you can’t do stairs keep this in mind when booking and request a ground floor room. The bar is tiny, the photos online make it look much bigger but it’s nice and the bar staff were friendly. We dined in Bonnar’s Restaurant for dinner. It’s beautifully decorated but that’s about if for us. Food wasn’t great and not the warmest, service slow even though it was empty. Overpriced for what we had. I would stay in the Hotel again but not dine in it. Breakfast was fine until the waitress forgot to place aur order after us waiting over half an hour before she realised.
