Great hotel, great staff, great food.

Superb hotel that we would recommend & hope to return to later in the year!

Couldn't have asked for a better hotel, the location was lovely overlooking the lake, you could even enjoy a swim in the lake if thats what you wanted to do, the meals at the hotel were lovely and at breakfast the choice was endless. The staff were very friendly. A 10 minute walk took you to bars and restaurants. We had 10 days at this hotel but would have been happy to stay longer, at other holiday destinations we've been ready to come home after 10 days! Will definately be going back!

We had another enjoyable stay at this great Hotel. Our flight to Italy was delayed and we arrived very late, however, the Hotel called our booked taxi driver and asked if we wanted to eat and kept things open for us so we could have a meal. Great service. All the staff are helpful and friendly, but must say the Maitre'D really knows how to work with his customers. Whilst the Hotel food is excellent, if you fancy a change it is worth the walk into Salo to sample the restaurants there, as well as to take in the promenade of the locals on the Lake side!

The hotel is closer to Gardina Riviera rather than Salo but Salo is only a 30 min walk. Food, staff and quality of hotel is excellent. Had a really relaxing holiday and a bonus looking at the lake while you sat by the pool. Beds are really comfortable and it was never noisy, to early in the morning, so managed to sleep a lot!

Can't fault it. Will definitely be back. Excellent classy service.

This is a real gem . It has a outstanding location on the shores of Lake Garda. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with stunning views . The service is both friendly and efficient and the Restaurant has a fine Italian menu with many local specialities . The infinity pool and jacuzzi are both excellent and there is a spa within the hotel . Just do not expect a beach ( which is the English for Spaggia) as this only appears when the lake is half empty !

This was our second stay at this hotel within 9 months. it was great to return and find many of the same friendly and attentive staff still working there. If anything we enjoyed this stay more than the first one. It is worth eating in the hotel as the restaurant is very good, we found the quality of the food in nearby Gardone to be mixed. As many reviewers have said it is a bit of a walk to Salo but once you leave the main road it is a quiet walk and not at all unpleasant. We would return to this hotel again, it is ideally placed to pick up the Garda ferries at Gardoe and reception will always help put with any other trips you may wish to take part in.

Great hotel, with the best parts being the great staff and the pool right by the lake. A car is needed however as there isn't much in Barbarano and Salo is a 20 minute walk. Also, be wary of travelling outside of the main season as when we stayed there in mid May, the air conditioning was not turned on and the pool wasn't heated as advertised (and it was freezing!). Would thoroughly recommend (in season)

The hotel is set right along the edge of the lake with a mountainous backdrop. The rooms slightly small but still comfortable. They were however slightly stuffy as it was on the hot side while we were there. Breakfast is abundant. we had a selection of cold cuts, and if requested they would prepare some eggs. Also available was fruit cereal and yogurts. Teh location of the hotel suited our needs well. We primarily wanted a base from where to venture out each day to various villages around the lake while in the evening having somewhere comfortable to relax. There aren't very many choices for food in the evening unless you want to drive. The restaurant in the hotel serves nice dishes although we found that the size of the portions was on the small size and the prices where slightly high, more so when restaurants within the immediate vicinity (2) serve up larger, better and cheaper dishes. The staff in the hotel were really helpful. With regards to kids, the hotel is not entirely child friendly, however with some extra attention one can still find it easy to relax. This hotel really lived up to our expectations. I would not hesitate to stay there again should i be n the area. Neither would i hesitate to recommend it to others.
