Ser Casasandra Boutique Hotel

Wonderful experience from the moment we were picked up at the Cancun airport until we were dropped off for the last night in Cancun before flying home. We missed the worst 10 days of the worst winter in recent NE history. We hoped for a wonderful, stress-free vacation & we had it. All planning & scheduling was done for us - no looking for cabs, scrambling for ferry's or connecting transportation. An amazing Hotel, we were in the Master Suite - total privacy & lots of space. The weather was perfect, the beach & water glorious, the pool with it's small bar was the best at the end of a hot day.. Meals & staff were 5 star. We can't wait to book again.

Holbox Island is a secret jewel. Casa Sandra is nice. The staff is a bit off however. Check in was with a somewhat standoffish girl. The bar/ restaurant staff were nice, but very strange. The room was very pretty with a classic Mexican style. Very clean. The check out was very friendly. They let us do a late check out with no charge. All in all, a good stay on a beautiful island. Price is a bit high.

The staff at Casa Sandra were exceptional and went to great efforts to ensure we had a wonderful, relaxing experience. The pool is amazing with full service bar and great tunes. The room was a master suite and provided plenty of room, plus a large tub and shower. The AC was a much appreciated amenity after long days on the beach. The hotel coordinated our swim with the whale sharks and arranged anything we needed to enjoy our trip. Michelle, in particular, was tremendous. He provided us with personal introductions to the restaurants in town and ensured we had a good experience.

This was our second time to Casa Sandra in three years. If you are looking for a very quiet getaway to relax and enjoy some quality time with family, this is the place. Great location right on the beach and a very easy walk to town for dinner and taking in the local culture.

Overall an excellent experience for my entire family. Clean facilities and perfect location on the beach, with a short walk to the plaza. The staff are all friendly and the service is great. My only recommendation would be that the hotel lower the prices on their meals and drinks. The dinners are great, but the prices were high. The pool is small but very well maintained, as is the whole property. We liked exploring the different restaurants in the town. Our favorite was the small beach cafe at Hotel Mawimbi, just a few minutes walk .

Excelent hotel, good food, fantastic service, paradise destiny

From the moment we arrived, nevertheless we had booked with expedia with more than enough time, and made an extra confirmation by phone, the hotel didn´t had our room ready, I needed two beds, and as expedia gave me the option and booked it, I was sure to get what we needed, but instead they gave us a room with only one bed, their explanation was they had a big group to attend and didn´t have any rooms left, I had to ask for an extra bed to be able to accomodate my family. As they were very busy with their big group, we had to wait forever when we wanted to have breakfast or lunch, even dinner. The worse experience of all was when the hotel sent us on a tour exposing our lifes (I travelled alone with two kids) when they knew a tropical storm was right on us, I believe that when you contact a tour with your hotel is because you have their suppport and honesty, but not here. For trying to figure as a boutique hotel, believe me, this cuban hotel is toooooo far away of being so, yes they have nice details in their rooms but the facilities are not as clean as should be, they dont have the capacity needed to give a decent service to the people they host, and their front desk personnel is no proffesional at all.

The place is great, the room was superb, the food delicious and the service wonderful. We are a family of 5 and is hard to find room that fits and here we find it and Sandra (the owner) and all the personal were always willling to help in Any way. This vacations were one of the best ever! If you want to do something different, relax, forget about the crazy cities, this is the place. DON'T MISS ISLA HOLBOX AND CASA SANDRA, IS THE PERFECT CIMBINATION!
