Butterfly Beach Hotel

We first visited this hotel last December (2024 ) and had such a wonderful holiday, we decided to come back again this year. And we weren’t disappointed. It was just what we needed after a stressful year and we felt relaxed the moment we arrived. The staff are so friendly and super helpful and breakfast was delicious. So were the rum punches. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the housekeeping team always cheerful. We loved it so much we’ve booked to come back again in December 2026.

Close enough to the airport after a late evening arrival. On the beach. Two pool options. Clean, simple rooms. Friendly staff.

Friendly and comfortable

Well like many others happy to return to this friendly hotel. Staff truely make it with great front desk staff who have a great recall at remembering guests and swiftly checked us in. The hotel facilities work for us and since our last trip the hot tubs had all been replaced and were great the studio has ample kitchen facilities for us to make easy breakfast or light snacks and we enjoy the balcony with lovely views of the ocean with a sundowner. Cato as usual was great at housekeeping keeping everywhere spotless We enjoy sampling the culinary delights of Barbados 🇧🇧 and the location suits us perfectly to do this however we did use the Reef to dine in one night and a few lunches with a reasonable menu choice and a couple of happy hours each day. We’ve already booked our next visit and counting down to this in May 2026. Thanks for a great stay again

Stayed here in Dec 4 2025. Hotel was fine for a short stay (2 Nights) check in was fine, price was reasonable. The room we had was 305 which was clean and quite large but a little dated. Breakfast was ok but a little pricey for what was offered. The restaurant has great views of the ocean. They could do with a basic evening menu appear to only offer different specials each night. Most restaurant staff had a poor attitude felt like they were doing you a favor. Only issue was a leaking AC unit (Room 305) which some one also complained about back in July, still not fixed properly when we brought it to their attention.

This is a fantastic 3-star hotel in an unbeatable location! The beach is literally right there—just a one-minute stroll from the pool area. It’s also only a 15-minute walk to Oistins, with plenty of great food options nearby (highly recommend Hibiscus Café!). The rooms are spacious, with a large shower, good wardrobe space, and a really handy full kitchenette (fridge, microwave, two hobs, kettle, plus cutlery and crockery). But the absolute BEST part of the stay is the staff. Every single person—reception, bar, restaurant, cleaning, security, maintenance—was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. They truly made us feel at home (which, technically, we were!).

It would of been nice to have some more Bajan food such as some breadfruit, coucou , flying fish. Also drinks like Mauby, golden apple juice etc. However, plenty of places locally you can get these.
