Right in the middle of beautiful Hvar! Stunning hotel.

We stayed in a beautiful room with a deck that had a fantastic view overlooking the harbor in this glorious hotel. The wait staff at breakfast was top notch—joyfully recommending dishes and ensuring every detail was perfect. The breakfast was delicious! The checkin/out and baggage delivery to our room and the port was excellent and we received excellent help from the concierge for booking a boat tour. We will absolutely stay here again! Superb hotel!

Stunning hotel. We were in the penthouse suite which had a lovely view of the harbor. Comfy chairs on the deck. Breakfast was the best and a shout out to Barbara who anticipated every need during the meal and had a happy, upbeat demeanor every day! Location was perfect. My only suggestion is that I wish I had known ahead of time that you need to make a reservation in advance to use the hotel’s beach club. By the time we arrived, there were no spots available for that day. Otherwise, it was perfection!

The most beautiful hotel! Service was great! A special European hotel with exceptional European service- turn down service, clean fresh cotton pad for feet when getting out of bed each night, bottled was in glass bottles, coffee and tea in room with porcelain tea cup, slippers, different treats each night, friendly helpful staff, gorgeous view, piano player in the terrace in the evening, excellent restaurant,….Too many good things to list! Breakfast is unbelievable! I recommend this hotel with 10 stars!!!!

fantastic location and quality hotel in all respects (other than what I did not like)

Our room smelled. There was a strong smell of rotting material from the shower drain. The hotel must have known. I asked for an email via message through booking.com. A response did not arrive until after I had reported the issue to reception. The reaction was - housekeeping would be advised and that this was a problem due to the wind! Really! I advised that clearly this was not the case and the issue was not a house keeping matter, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and in order by the excellent staff; this was a drain issue. The matter was resolved, in terms of the source of the foul smell being addressed but I have several messages left with the hotel asking what they propose to do to remedy this disappointment and I have been ignored. I was hopeful of an apology which would have rendered my raising this matter unnecessary, in respect of an otherwise supper hotel. This is not what I would expect from a hotel of this standing and cost.

I loved the hotel all around. Staff was helpful, proactive and very friendly. The breakfast was outstanding.
