This property is all about the view, and it is absolutely amazing! The owner is a very nice lady. Now a few issues: the road is rough (only access for one car for a long stretch), the photos are not necessarily accurate, and a challenge to find reception (although this has been mentioned in many reviews which gives the feeling that the owner doesn’t care to change this). I think many of the photos are the private villas, which appear to be much more up to date but there are only two villas. While it’s a lovely property, I do not think it’s luxurious at all… it may have been spectacular when it first opened. A few other things: had a really short shower curtain so the entire bathroom floor got wet when showering and kitchen could use more utensils. There was an old, abandoned car not far from the pool as well as areas that could have been touch up a bit. In summary, I think it’s a great value for the money however if it is luxury you desire, look elsewhere.

Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben (z.B. Strand, der vor allem von Einheimischen genützt wird). Wir waren auch mit dem Zimmerservice sehr zufrieden. Die Ausstattung war angemessen. Es gibt sehr viele Katzen, das muss man mögen. Für uns war das kein Problem. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Man kann die New Road mit dem Auto über eine "Panzerstraße" schnell erreichen. Auch mit den Öffis kommt man von der N-R in die größeren Städte. Die Entfernungen sind allerdings nicht zu unterschätzen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Der check-in bei Condor war ziemlich nervig und kostspielig. Für meinen SL Rucksack als Handgepäck musste ich z. B. extra zahlen, was noch nie der Fall war. Es gab keinen check in terminal, wir konnten uns nicht über smartphone einchecken und mussten den check in dann am Schalter noch mal extra bezahlen - alles in allem 75,-.

We love this location! We’ve visited twice in 14 years and enjoyed it more the second time around. The view is amazing and the location is fairly secluded. It has a pool and the host is lovely. Also Surrounded by olive trees

We arrived in the dark after our flight into Heraklion. We were grateful for the detailed directions from Pepy which made finding the Nymphes easy enough, up on the steep hill overlooking the bay. She was waiting on arrival with a warm welcome and showed us to our apartment, which had a lovely view of the sparkling lights of Agia Pelagia below. Everything was as it should be; clean, tidy and comfy. The view from our terrace when we woke up in the morning was just wonderful - wish we could have stayed longer!

I stayed at Nymphes for a week’s stay at the beginning of October, in the 2 new villas located at the top of the property. The road to reach the villas is steady, but it becomes funny when you’re a little used. Villas are very pleasant, well arranged and decorated, comfortable beds, great outdoor furniture around the pools, surrounding the marvelous bay of Agia Pelagia. Weather at this time was fine, but the temperature did not allowed us to use the pools, next time, we’ll tried to come in September or in May or July. Pepy, the owner of Nymphes is a wonderful person, as everybody says, thanks Pepy for your true kindness. At this moment of the year, each villa can be booked for less than 70€ per night, I don’t see what can be better for this price.

We lived in this apartment from 10/04/18 to 10/16/18 (a large family of 3 adults, 3 children - 1 child of 1 year). When we arrived, it turned out that the hostess had forgotten about our reservation and canceled it, without warning us (all confirmations by mail were requested and received from her in advance). She refused to return the money and placed 6 people in an old double room for 2 nights, then another 2 nights in a suite, and only then in a room reserved by us earlier. Instead of an apology or compensation, she only pretended not to understand and went to her room. Vacation was ruined. Returning from a trip to Santorini 10/09/18 late at night in the apartment, we found that they are dirty and not ready. The hostess again forgot about us and rushed to clean them. We stood outside with the children in the dark and waited. The apartments themselves are not luxurious at all, as the name implies, but old and worn out. In our room in the toilet there was always water from the toilet bowl on the floor. A lot of cats who constantly walk on the tables and steal food from plates and packages. The road to the apartment is quite dangerous - from an asphalt road about 700 meters of dirt dirt road along the cliff.
