Rodeway Inn St George North - Near Pioneer Park

At check in, I was spoken to abruptly and denied any help beyond the literal payment (late checkout, first floor handicap accommodations, etc.). We had a lowness in appearance with a gaping hole under the door, Smokey/musty smell, missing lightbulb, none charging outlet not near bed, under mattress between headboard there were crumbs all over, and repairs were “patchy,” among other things.

The property is very close to downtown St George I work in ancestor square and I’m in between places at the moment have been here for about a week and the staff and management are super friendly and helpful, especially the male that works in the office!!

Nothing to complain about

Actual room did not look like the pictures. Pictures make it look newly remodeled and my room certainly wasn't. I had requested a first floor room, but the host said no single bed rooms were available on the first floor. I said a two bed room was fine if it was on the first floor. Maybe the first floor hasn't been remodeled yet? One of the beds had a stain on the folded back part of the sheet which should have been obvious to housekeeping. Handle for the sink faucet was not attached and fell off. Toilet handle was also loose and felt as if it would fall off. Cover on bathroom vent/light was missing and had paper shoved around it. Room had a stale smell which eventually seemed to go away once I got the a/c plugged in and running. Paint was peeling in places in the bathroom and mattress was old - it had a visible dip in the middle. I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid, but I at least expected the room to look like the pictures.

Fair price, nothing fancy, but clean & feel safe in area.
