Garner Hotel Wytheville East by IHG

I have stayed here twice in the last year. I would definitely stay there again. It's a clean room and a good value.

Very quiet

Unfortunately they are remodeling...which is a good thing as well .. we stayed on the 2nd floor our room had been already remodeled but wasn't completely finished... small fridge didn't work .. couple outlets still had exposed wires and no light fixture ... also the pool was closed

Overall a nice stay. Staff was friendly and they allow pets. Plenty of places to take dogs.

Remodeling occurring during stay and pool was out of order.

They were going through remodel I booked the hotel because they had a pool but closed no warning about them remodeling there were no benches outside the breakfast menu so limited I was supposed to stay for 3 days left early. The only thing I liked was seeing how pet friendly they were.

Excellent fresh brewed coffee. Had my favorite cereal (raisin bran) and sausage and eggs and toast and mini muffins and juice. And the staff were amazing - helpful and personable and professional. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice quiet stay. Staff helpful and rooms were updated and very clean. Renovations being done to some rooms still in progress. Did not affect our time there. Love the coffee machine. Will stay again if need arises. Great half way point on travel to Myrtle Beach.

This was a stop on the way from FL to NY. Hotel is under renovations so some dust and boxes around everywhere. When finished, it will look nice! The room was clean and even had a cute note wishing me a good day! (Remember to leave a tip!) other than the worn out tub with a taped on covering, the room was nice! Bed is very high! Plenty of room for my dog and I to relax! Staff is super pleasant, view of the mountains was nice! Breakfast was okay (scrambled eggs, sausage for the warm dishes, and tiny muffins/bagels and various cereals)

The hotel was under was renovated and was unable to seat for breakfast. I was traveling with my dog ( 10 lbs ). And was charged an extra $25. I’m sorry but I have stayed at this location several times never was I charged for my dog. I will NOT be going back to this location again. Very disappointed

The hotel is under construction and its understandable that there was some noise, the pool and the gym were not in service. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Hotel is being renovated. The latch on our room door was loose so had to force door to latch and lock. Bedspread had a stain in the middle, but was clean. No insulation in wall between room and bathroom, so you could hear everything. Staff was very nice and helpful.
