Meridian Inn

This was our second stay at Meridian Inn and it was just as we remembered. Fantastic location, just at one end of The Gap, but quiet. Close to Dover beach, surf lessons, and many restaurants. We had everything we needed in our room to prepare meals, and were able to enjoy them while seated on our balcony taking in the lovely view. Staff were incredible! From reception, housekeeping and the owner, who helped carry my suitcase up to our room. Our room was always clean and comfortable when we returned from a day of exploring beautiful Barbados. Other patrons were also very welcoming, making friends while we were there. Other than the calico cat who frequents reception, whom I know will love me one day. We will definitely be rebooking next year when we return, and we look forward to it.

Quite basic but everything you need. Cleaners came everyday and towels changed. Very good location and value for money and would certainly book again

The property was old and so noisy on the first floor. We made due for one night. Staff is very nice and the people that stayed at the place were very friendly

Easy access to the beach, shops, and other amenities. Noise interruptions at night could be better.

This is a great option for those wanting to stay somewhere affordable in St Lawrence Gap. The staff are friendly, we loved having a kitchen and it is in walking distance to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It exceeded our initial expectations, perfect those on a budget and who aren't fussed about 5* facilities or perks.

Do Not Go Here. My booking was non-refundable (with no mention on Expedia), and they do not respond to communication. Our flight was changed to a later flight with only one hour to get there and get checked in. I used their "Contact Us" email from their website three times. No answer. I had to call them, to set up transportation from the airport. It didn't show. I called them from the airport, and they said that they would check into it, and call me back. No call back. In desperation, I took the last taxi available from the airport. Check in ends at 12:00, but they don't say what to do if you arrive late. Once there, there is supposed to be a phone by some window where you can call someone to tell you where your key is. They could have told me this. There were two 1-1/2" cockroaches in our room upon arrival, but the bug spray that makes them run was set out on the counter.

Great place to stay. Very short walk to the beach
