il manquait quelque chose pour les spectacles, je pensais que pour un quatre étoiles c'était un peu plus wahou... un rafraîchissement

The hotel offers good value for money compared to many higher-priced resorts in Mauritius. The rooms are modernised, comfortable and nicely designed, although the bathrooms are somewhat dated. The family pool is a good size and well maintained, and the gardens and landscaping are pleasant and create a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner are generally good with a wide buffet selection, which we appreciated.

The selection of fruit and healthy options at the buffet could be better, especially considering the location. It was also a bit surprising that water has to be paid for at dinner even when staying on half board. The beach was the biggest disappointment. It does not resemble the lagoon shown in promotional photos. The water is rather muddy and the sand feels artificial and compact. Because the area is man-made, there are no corals or fish nearby, so snorkeling directly from the hotel is not really possible. Some of the infrastructure and outdoor furniture could also use some repainting and deeper cleaning.

Betten waren bequem, Lage war gut.

Unsere Toiletten hatte wohl über uns einen Rohrbruch, wir hatten also das Toilettenwasser von den Menschen über uns. Zwischendurch wurden die braunen Läufer an der wand dann übergestrichen… Wasser kostet beim Frühstück und Abend essen 4€, in den Geschäften bekommt man es für ca 50ct..

It is very nice athmosphere when you enter to the resort. Service is extremely friendly and everybody is very nice from reception to cleaning to restaurant everybody makes you feel so comfortable. It is calm resort, nice guestures, full recommend it. Just you need to know for a nicer beach you take the shuttle from hotel and go there everyday eventhough the resort is beach front location. Food is for us not so bad not so good. Mauritian kitchen is also different from what we used to and there are a lot Indian varieties when it comes to food. But this is our personal preference some people can like it more. Every day they made small surprises by leaving invitations, towels in different shapes or some flowers in the room. Very very kind people.

Maybe only i could not understand why we needed to pay for the water in the restaurant while every where else in the resort it was free and available.

I liked how the facility was designed as an open-air hotel. The building will be renovated, including the bathrooms, which we had a problem with due to humidity. Fortunately, the staff is so good and helpful that they quickly changed our room, so I must say that the whole impression of the hotel was just improved by the phenomenal staff. By the way, I myself work in tourism, so I can't find enough words of praise for their work.

Only the previously mentioned problem of moisture in the bathroom, but as we were told, this will also be fixed in the coming months with renovations. The location of the hotel is good, but I must say that after the experience in the south of the island - the public beaches are much nicer there.

La gentillesse du personnel

La nourriture. Les plats avec des noms français mais rien à voir avec les vrais plats français. La taille de la terrasse et les deux sièges pour enfants. La qualité de l eau de la piscine.

Veranda var ett fantastiskt hotell! Läget vid stranden är super. Personalen är väldigt varm och välkomnande. Barnen älskade att de kunde bada både i pool och i havet. Inte så mkt snorkling dock. Läget är lite off, man behöver bil eller åka taxi till restauranger om man inte äter på hotellet.
