Reception closed with poor signage to the nearby Campanile reception. Lack of sleep due to neighbouring rooms partying all night. Man those mattresses need some oiling after all that squeaking. Definitely not sound proofed rooms

Hôtel facile d'accès. Accueil agréable. Petit dejeuner correct. Il est regrettable qu'on ne nous ai pas averti à notre arrivée que le restaurant était fermé le samedi soir.

At first appearance the place is a bit run down; it’s cheap, so popular with workers etc., which can make it look a bit rough with work vans and bunches of lads mooching about outside but get past that and it’s absolutely fine. The rooms are small and basic but clean and the housekeeping staff maintain them to a surprisingly high standard in my experience. Yes, the shower tends to go everywhere but the bathroom is more like a little wet room, so wasn’t a problem for me. The rooms can get a bit stuffy and the rooms aren’t that well ventilated, short of wedging the door and window open. There’s a small bar with a couple of beers on draught and a few bottles as well. The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There isn’t much of a food offer of an evening but they’ll knock you up a pizza which are actually quite nice. It has a nice little outdoor seating area which made for a very pleasant few pints of Affligem (try it!) after work. It’s very quiet of an evening and I wasn’t disturbed at night at all for the whole week I was there. It also seems popular with French families on the weekend, given the influx on the Saturday morning. In summary, for a 1* hotel at the price point where it sits, I‘d go back.

Spent five nights there, basic rooms, clean and tidy, no aircon but the door worked just as well, don't expect the Ritz but it served its purpose, business trip. As for the bar really great staff, very helpful, breakfast was great, beer was also very nice ( Affligem) terrace to sit - the place grew on me as the week went on

This is a basic French motel but despite some of the reviews, I found it to be very clean and the staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was good as were the good value pizzas. No matter what your individual opinions are on this establishment, once the draught Affligem sold in the bar starts flowing, any issues will quickly melt away
