I love the house! Our room was perfect. They had a bottle of champagne for me for my birthday!!!

The shower wasn't great but not a dealbreaker

It is in a nice and quiet location away from the nightlife but still within walking distance to it (or you could walk two blocks to get to the streetcar stop). Rooms are decently decorated with traditional-looking furniture. There is a small breakfast (oatmeal and fruit and granola bars, but no pancake maker or hot options).

Not much. There're some furniture they could replace if they wanted, but given the price I wouldn't expect it.

It was a little farther from the French Quarter than I would have liked.

We had expected a bit more offerings for breakfast only instant grits, and granola bars and there wasn’t any decaf coffee. I can’t have caffeinated coffee. I’d recommend offering some local pastries, bagels (and a toaster),cereal & fresh fruit. We enjoyed the hot tub but were disappointed that it was only a “Hot tub” & had no jets & the pool furniture was old & tired (a couple of broken chairs & tables). The pool & bar area was fine otherwise. It would be a great area to offer a free drink to guests in the evenings or an hour or two. We must have misread but we also thought secured parking was included or offered for a $25 fee but we had to park on the street but it was free. The room really needed some updates & painting of things like the baseboard & shoe molding. Was thankful for the refrigerator. The staff was Super nice & accommodating & we loved the history of the hotel. Just needs some little touches & freshing up to make it a great place!
