The food was awesome!

The reviews are great for this B&B, but the reality is even better. The rooms are well-decorated and comfortable, with extra touches like quality chocolates and comfortable robes. The gourmet breakfast was fantastic and hosts Jeff and Monika make everyone feel like one of the family.

The hosts have traveled extensively and led interesting lives- their personalities shine throughout the house. The cooking is Moroccan and French influenced, and is very tasty and interesting. Unusual things include needlepoint from various eras and a collection of world travel artwork. If you like well presented garden centers and especially prairie restoration, check out Hornbaker Gardens in nearby Princeton. Check their hours before you go.

Very cute Country Inn with Monika and Jeff as the perfect hosts. We went for the dinner meal as well. Wonderful food and fascinating discussion. I highly recommend!

We loved the house and enjoyed the Blue book in our room that shared the history and details about some of the furnishings. We had super at the restaurant and it was delicious. Best of all was the fresh brewed coffee.

Very nice and energetic young couple who provided us with great accomodations in their lovely home. The breakfast was excellent and Monika, who has written gluten free recipe books, fixed gluten free food for me. This was quite unusual to find in a small town as in many restaurants we have a hard time finding servers familiar with celiac disease

From the ambiance, the comfort, the food (ah the food...), and the friendly talented couple who own this charming B&B, our experience was absolutely first class. Monika is a genius in the kitchen.
