Easy check in and overall good experience. Great location for downtown events

Rather large courtyard with significant public areas , breakfast is relatively good and it does have a bar. Rooms are topical of the Marriott chain, my AC was not functioning properly which I did not bother to call in as it was late at night when I woke up noticing it

Room

Booked my room on hotels.com for 1 king room. The ended up giving me a double queen not too big of an issue. The room I was given had a big window to the lobby so if you're not careful people can view in if curtains aren't drawn closed. The other window had a piece of wood behind it due to being below first level. The breakfast buffet was my biggest issue. You have to pay $15.00 for a normal breakfast buffet you would end up getting for free from any other hotel, food was terrible and definitely not worth the $15 plus tax and tip so around $20.00 and not sure why you would need to tip the lady that stands there and checks you in. I asked if my room could be switched and they told me all rooms are booked. Also, if you need ice, it's on the fourth floor. Very inconvenient hotel for the high price you pay. I'd say if you have to stay there make sure your room is upper level if at all possible, and you might as well go out to breakfast. Last bit is someone dropped their dirty socks in the hallway we noticed the night before and guess what it was still there the next morning. Will not stay there again better hotels in the area for less money.

Clean rooms and close to many places to eat. Didn't get the room I reserved. $20 breakfast wasnt worth $20. Overall it was decent place to stay.

Usually we stay on the other side of town and wanted to mix it up. Good location, a bit run down. Not the friendliest front desk service but efficient.
