It was good for the one night we needed! Breakfast was good

Room was clean and satisfactory and the breakfast was excellent. Room was at the end of hall and noisy near stairway. A/C was lacking control and had very low flow for cooling, and the room keys never worked. Felt sorry for the staff as she had to come up and let us in every time during our stay (several other customers were complaining of the same keys issue).

Location was the best feature. Elevator broke down for a few hours and the carts disappears at times.

Concern #1: Staff uncertain about TV channels and operations. We wanted to watch a basketball game on ESPN. The television was not responding properly, and the staff seemed uncertain as to how to advise us. Concern #2: Both the room bathroom door, and door to hallway , had significant squeaks when opened. This is a problem when multiple people are sharing the room, and people get up during the night to enter a bathroom with a squeaking door. Some simple WD-40 spray by housekeeping could solve the problem. Marriott knows better.

I’m definitely not pleased with this hotel. First, my window faced the hotel’s front awning, which is made of brick or concrete, making it feel like I was staring at a wall. Second, the dish soap still had residue on it. Third, I found a wet contact lens on the desk in my room, making me question whether the room had even been cleaned properly. There are other grips but, these were the ones that annoyed me the most. And when I asked if I can exchange my room, I was told that everything was booked. You would think they would do everything in a power to satisfy a unhappy customer.

room needs updating and fixing: USB ports were not working, beds were hard, curtain covered the closet versus a closet door was unexpected and a cheap fix. No hot water when showering at night, tv kept turning off while watching it. Overall run down condition in bathroom (dirt on walls, floors). Despite small touches like toilet paper on one roll was twisted into a rosette, and hand towels were folded into a fan shape, it didn't make up for the run down condition of the room. First floor lobby was updated and looked good, but I guess they didn't upgrade the rooms.
