The staff was very welcoming and made navigating the hotel clear. The rooms are very clean and functional. Pool area was great and liked the pool lounge so we could watch the kids and enjoy a quiet atmosphere.

"When in Iowa City, STAY HERE!!!"

This Hyatt property in Iowa City is top tier! It is beautifully maintained and has a pleasing and lovely ambiance as soon as you walk in. I was met at the door by a bellhop who made sure the gentleman at the check in was aware I had come in. I had been at the University Hospital all day and was bone tired. I was impressed with the level of empathy and kindness offered at check in. My room was aesthetically pleasing, clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The storage areas were more than ample and the ambient lighting throughout the room made it very inviting. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
