Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend to others, concierge was very nice, breakfast was marvellous!! Next time we are in St Malo, we will definitely stay at Hotel Cartier again! Thank you from two happy travellers, from New Zealand.

"Nice little hotel-great location"

A friend and I arrived in mid September after a week in Paris...it was pouring rain on arrival so it was great that from St Vincent gates where the bus dropped us off we were only a four minute walk away. central abnd surrounded by lovely shops and restaurants. You MUST try the Ker-Y -Pomme pastries...wow..amazing...also the Caramel Buerre Sale crepes!!! The caramel beurre sale is particular to the Britanny region..as are the Ker-Y -Pomme pastry. You have to try the oysters!!!! Anyway a great time there...plenty of things to eat and drink! ( try the Muscatel with seafood or the Britaany cider) Nice little hotel...quiet and comfortable...however the shower could have been cleaner. Friendly staff too!!

"Lovely Hotel"

The hotel itself is small "but perfectly formed", the staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms are quite compact but very comfortable and my room requests were all met. We had a small balcony overloooking the street, which was very nice. Facilities in the room were good, and the beds comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but it looked delicious and was reasonably priced. Overall this was a great choice for a short stay in St Malo, and we would definitely stay again when we go back. There are loads of restaurants in close proximity for evening meals and lunches. The hotel was better than I expected for the cost, so good value too.

"Cartier Hotel - good location, small room"

Hotel is in a good location, however you do have to listen to the noise from the surrounding streets during the night. The double is too small for two people and the continental breakfast was very much over priced for what was available. Otherwise the room was comfortable just wished that the bed was bigger and the breakfast should be cheaper as was not included in price

very convenient hotel , right in the heart of the old town. easy walk to beaches and ramparts.didnt try breakfast.room was small but very cean and comfortable staff very helpful.

A nice hotel with a very good location in St Malo. The only downside I can think of was that the room was quite small, even for French standards.

"Great hotel"

Very friendly staff, location couldn't be better. The rooms are medium sized and the bathrooms are big, modern and very comfortable. Definitely recommend
