Standish Motel

This was our second stay at the Standish Motel and it was the same as last year. It is an older building but has been maintained well and very clean. It is convenient to the downtown area that has some good dining options.

They have coffee in the office that was fine. I prefer to have it in the room but it was still OK.

Nothing to say here.

The owner was very gracious and accommodating for our group in town for a gravel race. The atmosphere was excellent and while the location felt like a trip back in time it was clean and everything functioned as advertised. We will 100% be staying here again.

Our stay at Standish motel was excellent. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Close to restaurants and the casino was only a few miles away.

Near highway and fast food chains

Although states no pets , there had clearly been animals in our room prior . I know not something the staff has full control over .

We have stayed at motels numerous times and this was definitely not our favorite. The room was stifling hot. No air was turned on prior to our arrival and it was positioned behind the bathroom door so if the door was opened which it was you would not find it. The toilet was never cleaned but they did come and clean it. The room was not vacuumed. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable but we will not be back.
