Breakfast was good

WiFi very poor. Did not work all the time. Monsieur at the Desktop said it is our phone why it is not working. In the morning another Lady at the Desk fixed it.

The hotel is conveniently situated near the motorway. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy.

I have been visiting this hotel for 20 years. On my last visit (and I do mean Last) I asked for 2 ground floor rooms around the back of the property and quoted the room numbers I’d like. We were visiting with elderly dogs. The hotel acknowledged my request but when we got there were given first floor rooms. To get there you climb exterior concrete steps, not good for elderly dogs or elderly people. When I complained to reception that I’d asked for ground floor rooms I was told they were all being renovated. That wasn’t true because we saw guests using them and even if it were true the hotel should have told us. I’ll be staying at the Ibis in future which is a much better hotel on the other side of town.
