Sutherland House Victorian Bed and Breakfast

This was one of the most charming and welcoming bed and breakfasts we have stayed at. The Innkeepers really go out of their way with the little touches to make you feel welcome and at home. Not to mention the house itself is absolutely beautiful. Check in was very easy. They send you detailed communications with everything you need to know for your stay. They're also available if you should need anything while you're there. Plus the House's location is perfect for exploring the Canandaigua area. We stayed in Henry's Haven and the bed was very comfortable. Having your own ensuite is a plus as well. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. It was a four course meal served along with coffee, tea, two kinds of juice and water. We really enjoyed the conversations with the other guests at breakfast as well. Highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

Everything was beautiful! The house and yard are meticulous. The rooms are all beautiful and spotless. The 3 course breakfast was fantastic! We really had the best time! Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome and at home!

Breakfast was a gourmet experience of delicious food presented in the most artistic way amidst a gorgeous table setting! Truly memorable! Also the ambience created by music in the dining room & every attention to detail such as soda, cookies & gorgeous flowers everywhere made us feel so pampered.

The curving staircase is beautiful but we had to be so careful going up & down. We would have really appreciated bottles of water being offered.

The B&B was a stop on the way to Ontario for a wedding! 3 couples stayed and the experience was excellent.

Had a wonderful and relaxing evening and breakfast at Sutherland. Very much enjoyed the group setting for breakfast and meeting the other guests. The cook did a really great job rearranging to accommodate a couple that accidentally forgot to book breakfast and the meal was delicious. We love the Canandaigua area for a quick “day and a half trip” and will absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our visit. The room was comfortable and we had fun exploring the house. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Unique Victorian home with lots of personality and history. Breakfast was super yummy. Very welcoming bed & breakfast. Lots of sweet personal touches, Highly recommend!
