Sleep Inn South Bend Airport

I was not able to check in for 30 minutes as there was no one at the front desk present. When I checked in to my room it was hot, the AC was blowing out warm air. The bed was dirty, I pulled back the blankets and saw red stains that looked like bed bug stains on the sheets. I found a (dead) bed bug on the mattress after pulling everything off. I obviously could not stay there but the hotel refused a refund so I was not only out the $75 for the hotel, but also had to book another hotel last minute across town. I do not recommend staying here at all.

I wouldn’t say this place is dirty, outdated yes. My check in lady was ok not super friendly but she did her job professionally. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but I didn’t have any problems. The property is pretty quiet.

Chose to stay at the property because of low cost and high reviews of 8.0. No way. Outside of hotel had weeds everywhere, indoor pool was closed and empty, washing machine in public area was broken, hotel smelled everywhere, pulled out sofa bed and found a pen, crumbs, and what my kids described as a booger on the sheet. There was no additional bedding for the pull out. There was a dirty, used wash rag in the shower when we got into our room, etc..... It was late so we stayed in the room and asked for a refund for the second night so we could leave. We were moved to the Quality Inn basically in the same parking lot at no additional cost. Although it was better it wasn't by much. Their pool was open but too cold and dirty to enjoy it.

This place was gross. I was deceived by the good reviews. It smelled terrible and was completely run down

I honestly don’t know what to say. The hotel was a poor choice. Uncomfortable, dirty , unpleasant place to sleep. Will never book this hotel again

Linens, beds and furniture are worse than other Sleep Inns I've stayed at. It's an old motel that isn't updated. If you are picky, don't stay here. Someone was hanging out outside the entrance after 2 AM. Pool was shut down due to health department order. Front desk people were helpful. Motel was quiet. Beds were not firm.

We didn’t stay. We cancelled because the pool was broken and the hotel wasn’t clean.

A bit off the beaten path but worth it. quiet location. very nice king bed, comfy. nice tv. nice bathroom and shower. Gave me accessible room. Breakfast standard. Friendly owners. Excellent value for price. This is second Sleep Inn I've stayed in this week and they were both excellent.
