The food we ate for both breakfast and dinner was outstanding.
Little River Inn was exactly what we were looking for! Quiet, dog-friendly & minutes away from downtown Mendocino. The staff was super nice, and accommodating with our pup! We hope to make another trip here in the near future!

Our room with 'partial ocean view' actually had a great view, part ocean part trees. Lovely private deck to enjoy it from. Appreciated the plug in for our EV. Great to be able to walk to Van Damme State Park and enjoy beach and trails.
Beautiful view from our room of the ocean! Disappointed by our room...very old, phone wasn't working, fan didn't work...the staff came up to the room and figured out the phone and placed a portable fan in the room. So, being by the ocean you would think that you could open the windows at night for fresh air, well you could, but from a security standpoint was concerning. The slider opened to a porch that went the whole length of the porch, including past other guest rooms and there was no divider. The windows by the door where you came in was also accessible to anyone walking past. So, one night was plenty and we went to a better quality place.
The view is incredible. It is an older property which is charming but also means some of the features are not updated. Overall a charming resort in a beautiful spot.
