It was walking distance to town, has its own parking, staff were very nice.

We arrived at 7.20pm just before reception closed which was fine, went to unwind and watch tv later on after unpacking etc at about 7.45pm and the tv remote batteries were flat with no buttons on tv so no Netflix etc. called the Gilmer ph number to let them know the remote wasn’t working and they said I would have to wait until 9am the next morning to have someone bring me batteries! Bit annoying just wanted to relax but ended up having to drive 10min to the nearest supermarket to buy some batteries. The other thing is you Only have about 20mins of hot water so between the 3 of us could only have 7min showers (like to have atleast 10min showers on vacation).

Location is excellent, the bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there. Free use of the health centre was great - we enjoyed the spa after a long day of walking. The staff were all really lovely. The washing machine / dryer in the room was appreciated.

The shower was a bit small, but okay. The tv stand was a bit low as when we were in bed with the covers on, we could only see the top half of the tv. Other than that everything was great.
