"Clean and that’s it"

The room was clean. However, there was no fridge, microwave, closet, nor iron as advertise. Also, the tv in our room didn’t work.

Was told ‘we don’t do breakfast’ at check in despite listing indicating free breakfast, the room number was on a piece of masking tape and there was no fridge in the room. Would not stay here again.

The property had my reservation for several months. They even sent me a text the day before the reservation for me to check in. After traveling all day, they weren’t even open. The parking lot was empty and a handwritten sign to call to “check in” led to a number that would only text and not talk on the phone. They offered to send me another hotel but I’d have to pay for it. Expedia made the situation right

"The worst!!"

For starters, I booked and checked in online thru hotels.com for a Microtel that was knew in the same city. Arrived and total construction was in progress and the hotel staff directed me to Hawthorn which is their sister hotel. She stated if I go there my reservation will be honored. I get there and the staff was no help, the reservation was not honored and I had to get hotels.com involved and they helped me swap recservations. Hawthorn was filthy, I had dead Bees all on the window pane. The refrigerator was leaking water over the floor. The staff did not respond to fix it. No towels, the entire building didn’t have any ice and the staff just laughed at me after sending me on this wild goose chase. They were not friendly nor accommodating. Then they have a ton of cats roaming the parking lot. When I woke up the next day it was five of them on top of my truck. Very disgusting hotel. I will never return that hotel again.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service and facilities at your hotel. My mother and I stayed at your hotel from December 8 to December 9, 2023, and we had a terrible experience that caused us physical and emotional distress. First of all, the room we booked, Room 214, was completely nasty and unclean. Everything was broken, from the TV to the faucet. The sheets were stained, the carpet was dirty, and the bathroom was moldy. We have attached some photos of the room as evidence of the poor condition. Secondly, on December 8, 2023, my mother and I got stuck on the elevator for over an hour. No one from the hotel staff came to help us, even though we pressed the emergency button and called the front desk. We had to call the police to get some help off of the elevator. The police arrived at 11:15 a.m. and managed to open the elevator door. We have attached a copy of the police report as evidence of the incident. Both the room and the elevator situation were unacceptable and unacceptable. They caused us a lot of inconvenience, discomfort, and anxiety. My mother suffers from claustrophobia and asthma, and she had a panic attack and difficulty breathing in the elevator. We had to go to the hospital after we got out of the elevator. We have attached a copy of the medical bill as evidence of the harm we suffered. When we complained to the front desk, they only offered to reimburse the room charge, which we accepted. However, this is not enough to compensate for the terrible experience we had at your hotel. We demand a full refund of the entire amount we paid for our stay, including taxes and fees. We also demand a written apology from you and the staff involved. We also request a voucher for a free two-night stay at any of your hotels, valid for one year. We expect you to meet these demands within 14 days of receiving this letter, or we will take further action. We hope that you will take this matter seriously and resolve it as soon as possible. The hotel room was terribly dirty, trash on the floor and dirt on the surfaces. Breakfast food was expired. Beds were the only thing clean. Would have found another hotel if we weren’t moving in a 26’ U-Haul and exhausted.

Did not say that the hotel was under renovation had to walk up four flights of stairs. The room was not comfortable. All the beds are not comfortable. The bathroom was OK but the sink is very small. There’s no dryer in there because they’re renovation and we were very displaced, and, I had a wreck yesterday and they wouldn’t give me any of my money back at all so very displeased with this place will never say again, and will not recommend this place to anybody

"DO NOT STAY!!!!"

The hotel is under renovation. And you are ripped off immediately by having to pay a 75.00 deposit for damage to the room. When the room has a substantial amount of damage in it. Also for smoking in the room when the strong odor of marijuana from the hallway drifts into your room. And told min. breakfast, but did not experience it because I left. Hotel should be closed!!
