Check in smooth, room clean, amenities very nice, as expected, quiet, black out blinds were great!

Minor complaints: Only giant thick pillows available with no other options of normal thickness pillows to sleep on. Bedding very light - needed to use extra blanket from sofa bed until we figured out thermostat. Only one shower in grotto change rooms - and only soap, no shampoo/conditioner/lotion. Not a biggee, can go back to our room. 25cents for lockers which is fine, but check in staff didn't mention - and not worth it to go outside in bathing suit to run back to room to get a quarter. Nice hot tub grotto - enjoyed it as unique. We had booked a king loft suite and asked to check in early. When we phoned ahead (2 hours) staff couldn't bother to look up the room status to let us know if any rooms might be available. That's to be expected, but disappointing - we got very standard service, like a chain motel no one going out the extra mile to make the experience special, especially for over $300 for one night, in shoulder season when hotel was not busy.

The location, ski shuttle and local bus stop right in front of the hotel!

There were some sort of bugs in our room, asked several times for deep cleaning until some one actually vacuumed the unit
