"Staff was very pleasant"

The room was clean and all bathroom supplies provided, room was very dark at night the lighting was not great. Breakfast not included. I felt like the cheaper version 20 Minutes away (spark by Hilton mechanicsburg) was cheaper and just as nice if not nicer. Staff was very pleasant as well.

I was planning on staying here this weekend for my sister's birthday trip. Plans got switched around and I didn't need the room anymore. Unfortunately, I booked through Booking.com which has terrible business practices and despite that fact that I had a free cancellation on my reservation, refused to honor it. Fortunately, I was able to reach out to HGI and send them a request through booking.com and they kindly cancelled my reservation for free. Kudos to them for excellent customer service practices and shame on Booking.com! Thank you, I will be staying here exclusively when in the Harrisburg area!

Front staff was nice and friendly and concerned about my stay, inquiring if everything was fine. It was excellent. The kitchen staff was nice and friendly and food was amazing. Will restay at this hotel again my next visit in Harrisburg.
