Featherbed Railroad B&B Resort

It was very nice an peaceful it was a very cool spot to get away from it all an if you want to go an find something to do there's a casino,lake,stores a park i would go back again.

First I must say that the breakfast in this place is wonderful and oh so tasty!!! They want to know if there are any dietary restrictions and work with you if so. Fun themed caboose cars for rooms! Mine was ‘Casablanca’ with Red neon sign Rick’s Cafe Americain” over a piano (out of tune) as you enter and across was a bar (empty alcohol bottles). An old radio and suitcase. A poster from the movie and a mirror enclosed giant jetted tub. The mirror over the sink had,”here’s lookin at you, kid!” Bed was VERY comfortable! There was an odor that was strong at the beginning but seemed to decrease as the heater was run for a while...maybe mildew?

Caboose rooms and breakfast. Lake is very close and the private ramp into the lake is great.

The caboose room was very unique and cozy. The breakfast was excellent, especially the stuffed French toast. Nice and Clear Lake is not very interesting, at least in January.

This trip was for our 15th. Anniversary and it was amazing! The details that the owners have put into the place are absolutely extraordinary! Not to mention, wonderful people! The breakfast was to die for! Italian Frittata, home made Focaccia, with yogurt and fresh berries. A variety of teas as well as coffee. The Chef/Owner is very talented! A plentiful library of both books and movies. A truly unique experience! We plan on returning regularly! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!

This place is amazing & quirky. A *little* dated - in the BEST way. The hosts are so accommodating. They pulled out all the stops for our breakfast; even though there were just two of us. Delicious. 11/10 would stay here again

I loved the railcar cabooses, and they are all decorated so nicely, I'd love to stay in all of them!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Tropicaboose. This was a unique experience; you'd never guess how wonderfully appointed the room is from the outside. The space is a great size; the bed is AMAZING. The sheets were so soft...it felt like being on a cloud (but the mattress provided great support too!). The room had wine glasses, corkscrew/opener and ice bucket as well as a bistro table and small fridge. The bathroom was quite nice, the towels fluffy and good size. Breakfast was also fabulous; the homemade sausage patty was supreb (spicy, not greasy or heavy). We highly recommend staying here!
