The Lafayette Inn & Restaurant

Woke up to a really good breakfast. Not a big French Toast eater, but it was very good. The room was clean and very quite.

Owners/operators are interesting, open, friendly hosts.

The owners, the food, the room decor. Upon arrival, we were given a small bottle of good champagne! A delicious breakfast was included. More champagne came with the prie fixe dinner! I loved the colony of cats outside which Allen and Kaye care for.

The management went above and beyond to help us!

The room was decorated so nicely and was cozy too. The breakfast was delicious and there were 3 selections to choice from. We also had a great dinner in their restaurant one of the evenings. The menu had a very good variety to choose from. The owners were very friendly and interesting, but not intrusive.

No dislikes!

The proprietors of the Inn were very hospitable and available. It was a very charming historic place and we enjoyed touring the town with the historic markers on the buildings and the park down the street. We especially enjoyed the individually prepared breakfast in the morning.

Great place to stay in an architectural piece of history

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The whole building is fabulous, steeped in history, and the rooms all have their own personality and character, with wonderful features in each room. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, the products were locally sourced and delicious 😋 The town of Stanardsville is lovely and has a great shop called Noon which features local artists. You could spend hours in this shop!

This historic Inn in a very small town ( population about 400) was a lovely respite. There was ample space in the room with a full bed, private bath and sitting area with fireplace. The restaurant on site offered a very nice dinner menu and wine selection and breakfast was served st our table and complimentary. Loved everything about our stay. Very gracious hosts.

Historical area. Bed and breakfast. Breakfast included and it was great. Wedding reception was held there and we all had a great time. Met great and friendly people and employees . Great menu and chefs. Lots of historical site seeing, bunkers from the civil war,etc etc.

Was a little to far from my home but don't regret. Would do it again. Next time I'll get a tour of the area.
