El Mouradi Cap Mahdia

For several years now, I have been spending summers in the beautiful El Mouradi Cap hotel, which completely charmed me with its micro-location, service and phenomenal atmosphere. Of course, this year I will be a guest of the Cap Hotel twice, the first time in the period from June 12 to July 31 (49 days) and the second time in the period from August 28 to September 25 (28 days). I look forward to meeting this wonderful destination again.

Travelled as an adult family (58, 79 and 83!) for a cheap (£250 each 😄) 10 nights stay. Didn't really expect much, just wanted to does about, have full bellies and a clean place to sleep. We got a lot more than we expected 😆 The hotel is quite small but very clean, room was a good size for 3 people, daily fresh towels and sheets changed every other day. Food was very tasty. We were 'out of season' so not all facilities were open, but we were expecting that (and probably wouldn't have used them anyway). Hotel was very quiet the first few days but picked up throughout our stay. As more people arrived, the food choices increased. Even when it was quiet, the food was incredibly tasty, just not as much choice. The main stand out point was definitely the staff. All incredibly friendly, hard working and very helpful. They remembered drink and food preferences, and the entertainment staff made sure you knew when activities you enjoyed were on. A few little pointers,mattresses for sunloungers aren't included in the all inclusive (we knew before we travelled), just 2DT each per day . Simply get a ticket from the cashier, hand it in on the beach and staff deliver the mattress to your lounger. Not all cocktails are included, but the ones that aren't are only 10DT, about £2.70. You can only get bottles of water in the diner, or pay for them at the bar (there's free water stations about though). We've holiday in Tunisia loads but this was the first time to Mahdia. Would definitely to to this hotel again, if the transfer wasn't so long! We really didn't like the town of Mahdia (cheap 10 minutes taxi ride), obviously not the fault of the hotel).

Le personnel très gentil et serviable, l'emplacement avec accès direct de la plage et à proximité des bars et restaurants le long de la mer. Le ménage est fait tous les jours et les parties communes interieur comme exterieur aussi.

Les repas ne sont pas très variès et de qualité standar, le mobilier de l'hotel fait viellot surtout dans les chambres. Pas de douches à l'italienne seullement de vielles baignoires, nombres de prises ridicules 2 seulement mais faudra choisir ou c'est la télé ou on charge son smartphone.

Hotel lovely and clean , staff all very friendly , but osama on the bar absolutely brilliant and Daha from animation team both of these men were 5 star rating from myself and my husband ,

Very unpleasant stay at this hotel. Arrive to find NO snack bar. To be told there was no beer until “tomorrow”. No option of the al acarte restaurant that we had paid for. Only 2 friendly staff members 1 being the pool bar staff Osama and 1 being the entertainer Daha. Only thing that made this holiday bearable was the guests we met. Will not be back to this hotel I would say it’s a 1 star hotel not a 3 star.
