Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort and Spa

This was our return visit to Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort, and once again it exceeded our expectations. We absolutely love the private pool room with a stunning sea view—it’s the perfect combination of comfort and beauty. The service is truly exceptional. The team goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of and that your stay is an amazing experience from start to finish. The breakfast buffet is delicious, with a huge variety of options to suit every taste. A truly special place that keeps us coming back. Highly recommended!

My stay at Santhiya Resort in Thailand was absolutely incredible and exceeded all of my expectations. The resort's stunning architecture, breathtaking ocean views, and beautiful natural surroundings created a truly relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the delicious food to the comfortable accommodations and outstanding service, every detail was perfect. I would highly recommend Santhiya Resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable tropical getaway in Thailand.

The welcome upon arrival very hospitable. A lot of info to take in because it’s a large resort but easy enough to work out. Then a buggy takes you to your room. Service is first class staff are very helpful. Resort is very clean. Breakfast is excellent with a lovely egg station for eggs made at the moment. I would most definitely come back if I visit this island again.

Everything was really good.

Hotel has stunning views over the bay and there is a beautiful beach just a short walk over some rocks. The resort is very large with 2 nice swimming pools and our 2 bed villa was a great size. We liked the wooden truck service that can take you round the resort- the driver always greeted us with a smile and always remembered our room number! However don’t expect 5* accommodation or a 5* resort. We had cockroaches, ants, a gekko and weird worm things in our 2 bed villa. The hotel was very prompt at sending housekeeping round to remove the bugs but they kept coming back despite them giving our room an additional deep clean. Whilst the front desk sincerely apologised for the cockroaches etc they weren’t able to offer us alternative accommodation for 3 people without one of us being on a sofa bed - this was a downgrade as we had paid for a 2 bedroom villa! Instead we were offered 2 complimentary 60 min spa treatments but it turned out we could only have specific massages rather than a 60 min spa treatment of our choice- this was disappointing although the massage was very good. The resort and accommodation shows lots of signs of wear and tear and we think a large renovation is required to make it to any where near a 5 star standard. The breakfast was also not great with juices not being fresh and plates in the “clean plates” pile often being dirty. If booking, we would recommend a room without an outdoor shower as we think this was how the cockroaches etc entered our villa.

Absolutely stunning accommodation and our own private pool. The gardens are simply beautiful and the location of the resort is perfect. The staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly and accommodating.

The staff were so professional and couldn't do enough to make our stay a wonderful one. We loved the beautiful pool with plenty of options for shade or sun. The waterfalls added a lovely tropical feel and a sense of fun.

The beds are pretty firm!

We upgraded to a pool villa and I am so glad we did as it was incredible. Clean, beautiful, private and the pool was amazing. The staff were fabulous and the resort itself is beautiful. It is big and steep but they have little wooden cars that run 24 hours to drive you around the resort. Resort beach isn't great but the beach next door is accessible and absolutely beautiful. The food in the resort is very expensive but also very good. We chose to eat in the neighboring village - which is a 15 minute walk down the beach and the village is super cute with some fabulous restaurants. We also rented a scooter from the village. It isn't a resort that is accessible for anyone with difficulties walking - there are lots of steps and no ramps. I would certainly come here again.
