"Great people. Hotel needs some new furnishings and repairs."

Employees at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Check in and check out went smoothly. Breakfast was good, though smaller selection of items than at other recent Residence Inn stays in other FL cities. The room was clean. But curtains were ripped. Some of the furnishings weren’t in great shape. The pool was clean but the whirlpool was broken and not working. The views facing Little Lake Jackson were nice to wake up to.

STAFF WAS EXTREMLY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL

YOU CAN SMELLL THE MOLD IN THE ROOM ON THE GROUND LEVEL DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN A BALCONY DOOR ON THE GROUND LEVEL AS YOU WILL GET THOUSAND MOSQUITOS INSIDE. FRONT DESK LADY WAS VERY NICE TO SWITHC THE ROOM FOR ME TO SECOND FLOOR. SECOND FLOOR ROOM WAS ALSO CLEAN, DIDN'T SMELL ON MOLD AND I DIDN'T TRY OPENING THE BALCONY DOOR.

Lovely suite with kitchen and lounge area in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Balcony overlooking Lake Jackson. Good buffet breakfast included with good choice of hot and cold food.

Not really a criticism, but nowhere within walking distance to eat out/drink in the evening, but this is true of many places in the US.
