Ibis Christchurch

Great location near lots of eateries and quiet despite the central location. I stay Covid safe, so being able to eat my breakfast on the sheltered balcony with a bit of fresh air was really handy, and staff were kind enough to turn on heaters for me.

All pillows were very thick slabs. No frills at all as far as toiletries.

Staff were amazing & helpful. Early check in was available, which was welcomed after a very long flight. The hotel is in a very central location. The room was nice & had a very comfy bed. Good choices at breakfast.

Very noisy taxi rank outside. We were constantly woken by noise, music, shouting until around 4:30 a.m. Better soundproofing of rooms needed. I was disappointed that parking was not free and was not available to all guests.

Nice and central to everything. Christchurch is a beautiful city and looking fabulous since the earthquake ❤️

The reception call wasn't working from their room landlines, the reception wasn't very interested in getting that sorted. Limited options in breakfast.
