Location was only thing good about property

I booked and paid in advance for king suite disability roll in shower with separate living room and kitchen area with bar. They put me in dirty unsafe regular room. It had respirator running when I walked in. I asked them to remove the respirator. Room should have been aired out for hours before it was safe for anyone to be in there. They refused to change room. Bed unkempt. I had put towel in chair to cover dried dog poop so I could sleep in chair. They told me that day to get another room I would have to give that person cash. They gave me no refund. I went day 2 and paid for a room at another location to get a clean bed. I stayed only one night at Candlewood and stayed the rest of my visit at another hotel in a different location.

The location was great. The facility smelled great and seemed clean.

After being in our room for an hour we found a roach crawling up the wall by the door. I did report it to the front desk who apologized and offered to get us another room. But we had already had a sleepless night and just felt uncomfortable thinking another room would not have changed that. We asked to check out early, they agreed. Was disappointed that some other reduced compensation was not offered.

The breakfast was awesome and the room was quite.

The entrance was hard to drive into and out due to flow of traffic.
