Sandpearl Resort Private Beach

Excellent in every way. Stay here twice a year for a ling weekend. Service and rooms are great. Very accommodating. Walking distance to most restaurants. Car is not needed.

We have been to the Sandpearl at least four times now. This was our first time visiting since the remodel. The rooms have been remodeled in lovely beach, shades, and decor. There are so many nice things to say about this resort starting with the way, it is set up. The pool area looks out onto the beach and gulf. There is not a road to cross. We enjoy the restaurants, fitness center etc. The location of the Sandpearl is a bit quieter and we love it. 5 stars! There are only two things that could’ve made our trip better. The first is that the housekeeping is not consistent. I think that could be improved. I did contact the front desk once and water was delivered, but things were missed each day. 2 stars! The other thing is the pool. The temperature of the pool was not comfortable. We were told that the pool heater was broken again I say again because this happened on another trip to the Sandpearl water was very cold. Also, I believe they could do a better job enforcing people saving chairs. They have a sign saying that they will put a card on chairs that are left vacant for an hour, but I’ve never seen it done. People start saving chairs at 7 AM. Keep them saved and then go to the beach and back-and-forth. 3 stars! My only other tip for travelers is to avoid Saturdays. The pool is crowded with children and very loud. if you are there on a Saturday that might be the day to go sightseeing.

Our trip was to celebrate both couples having been married for 30 years. We left Boston at 6am took an Uber from Tampa International arrived at Sand Pearle about 10am. We were met with a professional, courtious and accomodating staff. Upon arrival there was a complimentary mimosas. Knowing we were early they had a room ready we'll prior to the 4pm checkin. Even if that didn't happen the concierge staff will securely store your baggage either on early arrival or departure well after 11am checkout. So don't stress they got you covered. The private beach was amazing with soft white sand. The pool and beachside service by the wait staff made the difference toward creating a truely relaxing environment. This was our first trip but not our last. My only regret was not finding this gem sooner. So if you have a young family looking to create memories or just looking for a change I highly recommend the Sand Pearl Resort located in Clearwater Florida.
