Easy to find and in a isolated quiet location

The only thing we didn’t like was the double bed as it was small and uncomfortable to sleep in

Staff are exceedingly helpful on very late night arrivals - much appreciated

Breakfast offerings could be better

Walked into room and was stinking of foist damp carpet was all stained and dirty

Breakfast included in the price, dogs also welcome

Bed was very uncomfortable i could feel springs!,had to sleep on duvet with another duvet from a single bed to cover me, (cold at night, as heating went off. Milk sachets were full of air , so i needed 6 for 1 cup of coffee. cost me as much for dogs as myself so an expensive stay at £80.00 when i actually could have stayed in peterborough , for £35 plus dogs £10 each , some places don’t charge for dogs,

The room was clean and the bedding and towels were spotless. Breakfast was limited but was enough in my opinion. We both enjoyed it and the room where we had breakfast was very clean too. The staff were very helpful.

The shower unit left a little to be desired. Hardly any water coming out. The heating in the room was a hit and a miss but we did get it on a few times

Great place to stay, the room was lovely, the staff were friendly, what more do you need, will definitely stay again :)

I like the close location, as next to it was the restaurant, where we had a wedding event. I liked the day shift lady at the reception -she was very nice and helpful. Good value for money, but I would improve the breakfast.

I didn't like the night shift lady, who was very rude when we entered the lodge, she started to shush us even when we didn't even speak. She was very offensive when we wanted to go for a cigarette after 1am ( we were back from our wedding party at the restaurant next door). My husband locked the key in the room, night shift lady didn't even try to help him, instead she was threatening to call the police, very disappointed. Breakfast was very limited, the shower was very tricky to use, and the hot water pressure was very low. Would not recommend it for more than one night.
