Oceanview Inn at the Arch

The rooms look toward the ocean. I was on the third floor and could see the waves coming ashore over the grass, trees and dunes. The hotel is very near the center of town making it easy to walk around town. The room was clean. Towels and soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion was well provided. The bed was fairly comfortable. There was a refrigerator and microwave with a little prep area and table and chairs. The hot water was instantly available. The heat and air conditioning worked well. I needed both during my visit as rain moved in for one day.

The water pressure in the shower was a little lower than I would hope. There was a constant hum as if machinery was going nearby.

Location, location, location It is located within walking distance to a great beach, lots of touristy shops and most importantly an ice cream shop. The room was plenty big for two adults and two children. Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker.

The room could be improved by adding a comfy chair to sit in and the dining table chairs tilted down so the kids kept sliding off. Even the adults found them very uncomfortable. That being said, we made do.

Only complaint was the elevator wouldn't read that we pushed a button for a floor, doors would close, and then nothing. Made us a little nervous we would get stuck. Happened a couple times, I let staff know and they assured me their tech would look at it tomorrow. :)
