Hotel Meira

Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms and amazingly kind and helpful staff. A welcome stop along the Camino

Lovely hotel right on the middle of a charming town and just a short walk away from a great beach too. There’s plenty of space to sit in Reception and also a large bar area (including a small courtyard). Unfortunately, the pool was closed for repairs when we visited. The (double) rooms (and en suite bathroom) were a really good size. We had a kettle in the room and our fridge had some soft drinks + beers for sale in it. Staff were friendly and accommodating - we had a nice dinner on our (sizeable) balcony using the room service - and a nice breakfast in the restaurant in the morning (they catered nicely for gluten free too!). We were also able to request a slightly later checkout (1.00 pm). Finally, we also all had a lovely massage from Solange who was excellent.

One stop on our Camino, just before walking to Spain. Lovely rooms with everything you need onsite. The breakfast was fantastic and we slept very well for our one night. Close to everything you could want. Ancora is a nice town - and here, you're close to everything.

I stayed at Hotel Meira last month while hiking the Camino de Santiago, and it was one of my favorite hotels on our entire route. It was clean, modern, convenient, and comfortable. The location was ideal for exploring, people-watching, and running errands, too. There's a grocery store, laundromat, and many cafes within just a few minutes walk of the hotel, which was helpful for my group since we'd been on the road for a while! We also loved dinner at the hotel restaurant (especially the lasagna). One of the locals told me Hotel Meira is one of the best in town, and I couldn't agree more. Hope to stay there again someday!

Le calme après un voyage éclair et une journée de travail fatigante. L'emplacement : très près de la mer et dans une rue calme le soir. Le personnel est très disponible : on m'a bien expliqué le meilleur moyen pour rejoindre l'aéroport de Porto car je devais rentrer tôt en France le lendemain. Point positif aussi : le petit déjeuner est copieux et on s'installe librement dans la salle.

Le petit déjeuner est servi assez tard : quand on est en vacances ce n'est pas gênant mais j'aime bien à 7h quand je travaille.

Hotel liegt sehr gut, direkt am Caminho, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sauber, gute Betten. Frühstück abwechslungsreich und gut

Alte Möbel, altes Teppichboden

El hotel tiene una ubicación fantástica, cerquísima del paseo de la play (ideal para pasear), de los restaurantes... el desayuno súper variado y muy rico (hasta era natural el zumo de naranja!) Las habitaciones muy limpias y la cama comodísima. Non se escuchan ruídos. Me encantaría repetir y esta vez llevar a mi perrito porque están permitidos!!!

La ubicación y el desayuno buffet lo mejor.

Ponen que tienen spa y sólo son 2 salas enanas de sauna y baño turco. Las camas y almohadas muy incómodas.
