"Excennent staff made a real Irish castle stay more enjoyable"

My top 3 positives were 1. Excellent staff 2. Spaciois courtyard room 3. Good meals - both dinner and breakfast and good value too, including reasonably priced wines

THey do need a leisure centre which I think is planned

What a wonderful experience! This beautiful castle is amazing! Our courtyard room was gorgeous with all the stone walls and the deco on the walls!! (I think i liked it better than the rooms in the castle itself; very regal-looking) We were able to get some stunning evening photos. The vibe is very relaxed, but you can tell they take great pride in making sure everything is just right. We were excited to be able to join in their high tea the next day. Outstanding memories!

Schöne alte Möbel, Bilder und zwei grosse liebe Hunde. Ein tolles Frühstück. Ein grosses Waldstück zum Spazieren und überall alte Rhododendron.

Beim Abendessen haben wir zusätzlich Kartoffel bestellt. Wir wurden leider nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass in den Menüs die Kartoffeln bereits mit serviert werden. Am Schluss ist viel Essen liegen geblieben. Musste natürlich alles von uns bezahlt werden.

"Cosy castle stay"

Staff very friendly and efficient. Food excellent Room very comfortable and nice bathroom.

Appreciate rénovations in progress but it was very difficult to park near courtyard rooms and walking route to the rooms through hotel was quite confusing. Be great to have some body/hand lotion in bathroom.
