Le Dune Sicily Hotel

Mi hanno cambiato camera in suite con la piscineta in giardino, ragazzi competenti.

Poolen, nära den fina sandstranden, alla magiska blommor, tjejerna i receptionen va så otroligt hjälpsamma. Bytte rum åt oss då vi ville ha balkong, flyttade allt bagage osv. Allt med ett leeende på läpparna. Killen i poolbaren som spelade saxofon va så trevlig. Inget paxande av solstolar 😅 vilket uppskattades. Buss utanför, men på Sicilien går alla bussar när det passar. Men smidigt att den va nära. Coolt att se Etna när man badade i havet.

Frukosten. Inte så trevlig personal, stressade, lyssande inte. Mögligt bröd så håll koll. Hade alldeles för mycket saker framme och verkade inte byta ut dem inför kommande frukost. Men man kunde beställa frukost från en meny.

Špinavé okolí, nedostatečně značený příjezd pro auto do areálu hotelu, katastrofální snídaně v poměru k ceně pobytu, hluk z okolí.

Schöne und saubere Anlage. Wir hatten nur Frühstück, Sizilianer lieben es süß, davon war ausreichend, man konnte aber auch American Frühstück bestellen. Pool schön groß mit einer Poolbar, Personal freundlich, Privatstrand gegenüber. Alles sauber und komfortabel.

Die Zimmer im Nebengebäude, die wir hatten war zwar groß aber 20m neben der Anlage und nicht ganz so schön gelegen, das sollte man wissen. Es gibt welche mit und ohne Küchenzeile

The hotel was bright, clean and the staff were friendly. Nice pool and pool bar. Breakfast was good, although the coffee was not. Rooms were small, but pleasant.

We had a problem with the shower flooding the shower room. It looked as though it had been newly fitted but wasn’t finished. The shower tray did not have a lip so water flowed straight out onto the bathroom floor which had no drainage point. The laminate flooring became flooded very quickly to about 1/4 inch throughout the room and began leaking into the bedroom. We notified reception straight away. They said they were fully booked so couldn’t move us and that we should use towels to mop it up! I said that I was not happy with this solution as I don’t come on holiday to be mopping with drenched towels each time I shower. Man on reception said I could use as many towels as I needed! I kept returning to reception to ask them to send maintenance to do something, but the problem was not resolved. i messaged via booking.com and they said they would send maintenance and if they needed more time they would have to move us. No one turned up. By this time it was halfway through the week and I was fed up with spending time chasing, which I think is what they hoped would happen. It was very annoying and spoiled our stay. The hotel is a 20-30 min walk into the town. Bus stop is across the road but the bus service was very erratic, especially returning in the evening.

Зеленая территория, вся в цветах, прекрасный теплый бассейн, шезлонги, зонтики, бар с приятным барменом. Комфортный номер, есть все необходимое, удобная кровать. Номер на первом этаже, вход прямо с улицы, свой столик, стулья, рядом с бассейном, очень удобно. Очень атмосферный внешний дизайн отеля, в сицилийском стиле, круглые синие двери, ставни. Завтрак разнообразный, все свежее, вкусное, много выпечки, фрукты, американский завтрак с яйцами и беконом приносят официанты. Персонал приятный и отзывчивый, улыбчивые. Расположение отличное, близко от пляжа, лежаки и зонтик бесплатно, входят в бронирование отеля. Пляж большой, чистый. Ресторан на пляже супер!

Комары в номере, пару ночей мешали спать. В санузле тет вентиляции принудительной, очень долго сохнет вода на полу, полотенца мокрые. Но это незначительно в общей картине, отель прекрасный, рекомендую.
