It was a wonderful experience ❤️😃!!! I love that lodge! The fact that the lodge is 150 years old, makes it a wonderful place ❤️. I loved everything. The breakfast was very good 😋😋😋 fresh eggs, bacon, fresh biscuit, mushrooms, orange juice… The owner is a nice person, and he prepared our breakfast.

No complaints. Every thing was lovely.

"Run down but charming"

The inn keeper was wonderful — responsive, interactive, nice. The facility is a bit run down, rooms are dated and the bathroom small and not clean. Breakfast was very good.

Rooms need to be brighter and linens updated. Our bathroom floor was dirty, radiators rusted, tiles broken.

Amazing breakfast. Unique decor. Seems like a cozy place to gather with family. Lodge had lots of games and cool knick knacks. Amazing restaurants in the area, which they had a list of. Close to the blue ridge parkway. Bathroom comfortable and easy to use.

Linens were not very crisp. Kind of dusty...old pillows. Some printed hotel policies would be nice. For example, directions on using the heater.

Last minute booking but was really good. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.

A bit far from things to do, but still a lovely place.
