The view the reception lady who's very lovely upgraded us because fridge wasn't working and still dirty with food from last customer

sad ambience not very welcoming aura considering its in a flash Hunter Valley Garden Fridge is dirty and wasn't working wi fi wasn't working mold in the bathroom only 1 teaspoon available coffee table with still finger prints and glass marks dusty TV doesn't work remote is so dusty and doesn't work no information sheets about amenities like room phone number in case something happen dirty bins dirty shower head bed sheets wasn't properly tucked in the room is sad and gloomy like a less 1 star motel in a remote area very ordinary room for thr amount I paid

Aircon was working, the bathroom had good ventilation and heating lights. They gave us a complimentary snack and water, which is highly appreciated. Spacious property with an outdoor seating. All appliances were in working condition (except the Wifi). As you cannot do much in Hunter Valley post 5pm, we were bored in the room with no wifi or much cellular service.

View could have been better. The listing photos looked better than in person. There was absolutely no wifi, no one to call in reception and check or to contact if there was an emergency. There was only one staff member in the reception and she could not help with housekeeping. Said they are off for the weekend and she cannot help us with that. Weekend is when a lot of guests check in, I don't know why they only had one staff member on site who could not do much.

The room and bed were comfortable, spacious and overlooking the pool with an attractive outlook. Although only a continental breakfast was available, it was delicious.

We had expected the restaurant would be open for dinner as it has been in the past.

Clean inside, back area had a lovely outlook. The staff at reception was really welcoming and helpful. Will be back.

Proximity to shops and to my function was not the best but made up for it with staff friendliness and amazing natural outlook.

The staff were very helpful prior to our stay in accommodating us in an accessible room suitable for a wheelchair.

The room was dirty - chips and leaves etc had been swept under a chair. I had my disabled husband with me and my elderly mother in the room next door. On the morning of checkout I received a call from reception advising me that I was 5 minutes late checking out. Given they were aware I was on my own looking after 2 rooms with people requiring assistance, I thought the phone call was very unwarranted and unprofessional. Some compassion wouldn't go astray.

We have stayed here on many occasions and it has changed very little over those years. This has not deterred us from choosing to stay here. We like the quiet location and the rooms are comfortable and clean. You can walk to 4 Pines brewery for a nice casual breakfast / dinner. The cycleway on Hermitage Rd is located close as are many wineries.

We were disappointed the Brokenback Bar is not operating now. We always enjoyed the casual eating here when we stayed on previous occasions. The property is looking a little bit tired but we would still book here again.

Location is good

Totally a bait and switch…. NOTHING Tuscan about the place. Happens to be next door to a Tuscan hotel
