The room was super clean

No counter top in the bathroom to set anything on. There were 2 very small shelves in the room to put anything on. Most of our stuff ended up on the floor.

Location in the middle of homeless population, room smelled of something bad that even stayed as a bad taste in my mouth

The room itself was nice, the surroundings were a little sketchy. The first night had a string smell of marijuana in the main room, but the second night was better. I was a little concerned about the security of the vehiclen but nothing happened. The back bedroom was a little more isolated, but had no air conditioning, so a closed door meant quiet and less pot smell but more stale air. The kitchenette was great, but bring your own pots and pans and plates and utensils.

Bed and room were great. The two people at the front desk were wonderful. Checking in with the electronic method was very challenging. I could not understand what the man on the screen was saying. His English was not clear. But the in person woman who helped me with the check in was excellen.

The shower was awesome.

It took 15 mins to check in for a room that was already paid for. We were locked into the office area during the entire checkin process. We needed to use the restroom after a long 6 hr drive
