Cowley Manor Experimental

The estate and grounds were the highlight of my stay. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, and the hotel's design is exceptional. The combination of beautiful nature and thoughtful architecture made the experience truly memorable.

The main disappointment was the level of service. The hotel appeared to be understaffed, which sometimes resulted in slow service and a less attentive guest experience than expected for a property of this standard. The restaurant was the biggest disappointment during my stay. The menu lacked variety, and the dining experience did not meet the standard set by the rest of the property. Given the quality and uniqueness of the hotel, I expected a broader selection and a more memorable food offering.restaurant's menu

Het prachtige domein waarin de manor gelegen is, je kan hier heel leuk en mooi wandelen, ieder hoekje is mooi onderhouden. Zeer ruime en propere kamer. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, zeer veel opties om uit te kiezen en alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Ook de spa met het prachtig zwembad is zeker een bezoekje waard!

Vanop de parking had je zicht in onze kamer dus overdag moest je de gordijnen sluiten om geen inkijk te hebben.

Stuff been rushing around definitely need more ppl at breakfast so its more calm experience matching the relaxed vibe of the property Overall was great place to stay

L'architecture de l'hôtel est magnifique et l'intérieur est très confortable ; j'ai adoré le design. Le spa est également incroyable, et les piscines intérieure et extérieure sont superbes.

Le bémol reste le service qui est décevant. L'équipe manque d'encadrement ; ce sont de jeunes employés qui font de leur mieux, mais ce n'est pas à la hauteur du standing et du prix. Il y a eu une soirée le vendredi soir et le nettoyage autour n’a pas été fait nous avons passé le séjour avec les mégots non ramassés…le personnel vous met à la porte du spa ou du bar 5mn avant la fermeture… Enfin les cocktails sont pré-mixés et pas au sommet de l’expérimental !

Beautiful gardens and building . Great to be shown around hotel when one arrives . Room very large with very comfy bed . Breakfast selection and quality great .

Hotel isolated in countryside not near any villages or places to visit . Restaurant overpriced , I do not mind paying expensive prices for 5 star food but this certainly wasn’t . Allowed small ( less than 1 year old ) and probably 2 year old children in restaurant at 8.45 pm . The baby was noisy and was taken out by father . It spoiled the ambiance of the meal for me . I don’t think under 5 year olds should be allowed in the restaurant especially as bar food available. If they are to be allowed should be 6-7 pm so other people who want a quiet meal can avoid those times . Experimental cocktail bar disappointing , not that many alcoholic cocktails on offer . Lots of healthy non alcoholic ones . On leaving had other peoples drinks charged to our room ,need to check signatures more carefully and get samples when people check in . If I had not checked bill could easily paid for multiple extra drinks .

Amazing experience overall! From the decor and room accommodations to the food and service plus the spa and pool, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay Cowley Manor. Wonderful place to stay in the Cotswolds!
