Sandbanks Hotel

The position. Mostly spacious. Amalfi meal. All staff very pleasant

Too many steps around as I walk with a rollator. My nephew changed our room at reception on his arrival which was helpful as we could access it via lift and flat corridor walking. However the double bed in Room 41 seemed exceptionally small and my husband and both struggled to sleep in it. I would absolutely not want that room if we come again especially as my nephew (single occupant) had a much bigger bed and larger room which we saw the next morning. Very disappointing. Also some of the corridors, door frames and doors could with some paint to tidy up the chips and scratches.

Location/breakfast

Radiator leaking in bathroom furniture outdated. No bath towels just very tight building.

Breakfast was excellent

The hotel is very dated and in need of renovation. The water pressure was so low that the shower was inadequate.

Breakfast and location are great.

You had to call reception from the locked front doors if you arrived at the hotel late at night.

Your location is great and your lobbies bars very pleasant.

The bathroom was very tired. The seaside terrace was somewhat tired and the pizza disappointing with a very long wait . The breakfast was disappointing with poor and oldfashioned choices , such as bread choices and no yoghurts or granola !

The view is exceptional. We love the homely atmosphere and going to sleep to the sound of the sea. The terrace is great for coffee or cocktails.

We have been going for a very long time and wouldn’t still be going if we didn’t like being there. The food is good and it’s always restful to visit.

Location was excellent. We loved the beach. Breakfast was good 😊 and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A bit outdated room. The water running from the toilet taps were weak, especially the toilet flush. No water to rinse with after using the beach.

Broken cracked sink, food wasn’t cooked and had to be returned.
