Had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast could be a bit better it was the same every day.

Lovely hotel and excellent staff. The in house restaurant is awesome.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful resort in a stunning location and staff helpful with recommendations of wineries to tour in the area and where to go for dinner (other than the resort itself). Our only issue was that the bed was a bit firmer than our comfort level... but still highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The main building is old, many steps and the rooms are quite large, comfortable with modern facilities. restaurant patio and pool areas were terrific and a real sun trap. The breakfasts were a good continental buffet. We had one evening meal in our 2 night stay. It truly was fine dining with some exquisite flavours and presentation. It was a little pricey and not for large appetites. We had booked a room that said "bath or shower" and did not specify which. My wife wanted a bath so they moved us to another room with no fuss. The location has wonderful views, but is a little out of the way, after all it is a vineyard, therefore a car is required.

We booked a room with a King bed and was given a room with a Queen bed. When we kindly asked the front desk about it and to see if there was anyway to switch to a room with a King bed, he refused and was unnecessarily rude about it. The room was just fine... we just assumed there was a mix up with the rooms and was expecting what we booked and a nicer view from the room from the photos online. Other than the one employee at the front desk that was a little rude about the room, everything else was wonderful! All the other staff was very kind, inviting and accommodating. The restaurant staff and food was absolutely wonderful! I would suggest to future guest to make sure that you call the hotel ahead of time and request a cab ride to the vineyard if arriving by train.

Our two bedroom suite was absolutely gorgeous and the villa grounds were beautiful. We rented a car and did day trips from the villa (an easy drive to Florence and Siena). I'd highly recommend and will be back.

After spending five days in another less expensive agriturismo location which we really enjoyed, we wanted to treat ourselves and have two of our last nights of exploring this region at this more luxurious villa. Unfortunately on arrival we were allocated a poor room which did not meet the description and was not suitable due to safety concerns. Instead of a family room with a parents en-suite room with a double bedroom and childrens room with two single beds we were given a chamber with a mezzanine platform accessed by a very steep and crooked staircase which is no way suitable for children or adult. The bottom level had a sofa which was made into double children's bed. The platform had a parents bed. As the shower, toilet and everything else was located on the bottom level we had to come downstairs through the night waking children and also to attend to them which was very painful as the stairs were not stable. It took a while to explain our concerns to the hotel reception staff who appear not to see the risks of people hurting themselves falling down the stairs. We were told that the hotel was full and no other rooms were available. On the following day we were given a better room which was safe with everything being on the same level and children given separate single beds. During our stay there was a forest fire very near the hotel. When we asked the hotel staff what the evacuation plan is they said there was not a specific plan waiting for fire brigades instructions.

The hotel is beautiful and staff was amazing. Great food and located in a beautiful area. However the one thing that bugged me was that the room I paid for was much different from the one advertised. I asked reception to confirm I was in the proper room and they said yes, they only advertise pictures of one room that was not available to me. Anyways it spoiled the moment for a period but the hotel and scenery made up for it.

A lovely villa and enjoyed our time there very much. Will come back again for sure. Perfect location, comfortable and relaxing.
